2. Membership Team reports
a. Recruitment update – Sarahi. Sept 25, 10-2 Oakland Nature Preserve doing open house with table for activities. Need to get volunteer signup.
b. Treasurer update – Sarahi. West Orange won Super Citrus award for 75% GFG goal and 75% of Spring Renewal.
c. Registrar update – Nicole. Several new troops and girls, will have better count at next meeting.
d. Girl Scout Ambassador – Valerie.
3. Program Team reports – Kim
a. Safety and Training – Kim and Sarahi
i. Sarahi -- First Aid/CPR training, Wednesday 9/29 at the Masonic Lodge in downtown Winter Garden. Registration open now at MyGS, $42. Two hours online (which must be taken by 5 PM on 9/28) and then in-person skills test at 6:00, 7:00, or 8:00.
Julie to check about Disney-offered certifications through Red Cross/American Heart Association.
ii. TARs – what is it, what do you need it for, what errors will likely get it rejected? -- Kim

Remember, on a TAR, anyone on the trip cannot be the emergency contact for someone else on the trip.
If you get a new parent volunteer or child, submit an updated TAR.
Any parent volunteers must have an active background check and be a registered Girl Scout if they’re attending meetings or events.
iii. Troop Camper Level 1 Training at MKW. Registration is open on MyGS. $20. Dates include 10/9, 10/23, 11/6. One more to be added in December. This is a combined online and in person training. Only one date is needed per person. This training is necessary for camping, a skills day, or any overnight trip.

v. Anyone have updates about renting OCPS space?
b. Camporee (possibly March 26 or April 8?) – Rachael. If anyone wants to help out on the committee for Camporee, please contact Rachael. (Activities, logistics, booking location, etc.). Kesha (3026/892) has volunteered to help. Thanks!!
c. Older Girl Mentor – Courtney. Contact Courtney when you’ve got girls working on higher awards (Bronze, Silver, Gold) to help keep the community in the loop.
d. Community Service – Joy

4. Logistics Team reports
a. Gifts for Girls update – Rotaya
i. Clothing/small items collection. First drop closes Sept. 21. Next drop will be in December or January.
ii. Troop financial donations. Goal is $3199. Looking at Spirit Nights, troop donations (hoping to have 100% of girls/families in a troop donate $7).
b. Fall Product – Kari
i. What is Fall Product? Online magazine sales plus online and in person chocolate and nuts fundraisers. Penguin theme, personalized patches have returned.
ii. Online training and paperwork pickup info. Currently 18 Troop Fall Product Chairs, half have done training. Once training has done, Kari will reach out so you get your paperwork. Also, feel free to join the West Orange Fall Product Facebook group for more information.
iii. Access to M2 opens Sept. 13
iv. Sales begin Sept. 20
v. Initial order and bank account info in M2 due Oct. 6.
vi. November 1-14, initial pickup.
vii. Misprint on the order card – the Sweet and Salty Mix is actually $6, not $5. (It is wrong on the picture, but correct on the actual order slip.)
viii. More information to come about Fall Rally from Council.
c. Cookie sales – Shaune/Stephane/Erica
i. New cookie (Adventurefuls, caramel brownie) and this year’s mascot (koala)
ii. Cookie (and Fall Product) rewards to be picked up
iii. Erica will be posting requests on the community pages for pearls of wisdom for cookie chairs and compiling a list of cookie chair mentors as well. Goal will be to have all new cookie chairs have an assigned mentor.
